Message	without warning her. What did she do? She blinked, probably even pulled her head away, maybe even got pissed. Why? Because self preservation is instinctual. Should she not know that you are her husband and would never deliberately cause her physical harm? Should she not be aware of this and realize that as your finger came right into her eye that she doesnt have to move? No way anyone who values their car would willingly accept a collision without warning. It's a knee jerk reaction. You will swerve. Avoiding/hitting animals is different, the road is not covered with animals everywhere you go everytime you drive. It is however covered with other cars and 99.9999999999999% of the time they are not causing accidents, unless you live in florida, then the number drops to 26.7234%. When you see an animal on the road you may be "schooled" enough to restrain your reaction to hit it, but I guarantee you if it is large enough to come over the hood and through your windshield, and it is on your side, you will swerve.
